Randy and his wife took a stroll down memory lane, reflecting on the season's grand finale. Randy had already donned his psychic hat, predicting their playoff dreams were slim, given their track record. Though the last game left them feeling a bit blue, they agreed the season wasn't all doom and gloom—they gave it their best shot! As a sprightly young team, they’re crossing their fingers for a glow-up next year.
After some conversation about bidding farewell to certain players, they wished them all the best in their future endeavors. They treasured the electric atmosphere of the arena and their nine-year journey with Sting Nation. This season, the radio became their game-day companion, allowing them to cheer from a distance when life prevented them from being in the stands.
They have a soft spot for the mascots and the entertaining antics during intermissions, but their wallets certainly felt the strain of ticket and snack prices! Next year, they’ll be sitting out, not only due to costs but for other reasons as well. Farewell for now, Sting Nation! But they remain loyal Sting fans! Go Sting Go! Yuuup!
Randy and his wife, Shea, had a heart-to-heart about the Sarnia Stings games this February, and let’s just say, their enthusiasm was on the low side. They both nodded in agreement that it’s been “not too impressive” and were, alas, “disappointed.”
While life threw a few curveballs, keeping them from attending games, they’ve been glued to their radios, cheering from the sidelines! Both are in sync that the team’s penalty kills and power plays could use a little TLC.
When it came to players worth watching, Edwards and Young stole the spotlight as team leaders. But oh boy, Randy’s favorite goalie, Maillet? They think he could use a little extra practice! These two have been loyal Sting fans for ages, and they’re calling on fellow fans to amp up the energy with more shouts of “Go Sting Go!” They proudly declare they’re part of the Sting nation, saying, "People know us!" Talk about fan pride!
As for playoff hopes, Randy was keeping it real, but Shea? She’s clutching onto hope like a life raft! And when it comes to their playoff performance? Randy quipped, “It depends on who they play!”
With Shea sending up some prayer hands for good luck, Randy signed off with a cheeky, “Watch out for London!” No matter the scoreboard, these two will always bleed Sting colors!

Having been a Season Ticket holder for a decade, Randy is well-known among fellow fans. He loves the YUP chant and appreciates the game's lively atmosphere. However, he feels the Sting are struggling, with more losses than wins. While he hasn't closely followed recent trades, he believes Filak is a solid player. Randy has been keeping an eye on Kyrou and won’t miss Doucette and his fighting style. He and his wife often find themselves disagreeing with the league's trade decisions with trades. Randy is not optimistic about the team's chances of making the playoffs this year, and he fondly reminisces about the enjoyable moments from the 2022-23 season.
